Before we get to the purpose of Tacrem you have to understand where the idea came from. It was one of those things that we stumbled upon and was shocked when we found a void in the market. It’s no secret that the co-founders of Tacrem aren’t tattoo artists. What they are is tattoo clients! Having artists be able to easily keep track of our information, waivers, deposits, etc is just as much a benefit to you as it is to us. From a client’s perspective, we spend sometimes years thinking of the perfect design, finding reference material, and the perfect artist to execute it. When you are walking in to get stabbed by a needle for hours you want to be 100% confident in the person wielding the machine. By having the whole booking process be smooth and professional, it helps the client relax so you get to have a little more creative freedom. Also, by you, the artist, having Tacrem take away some of your workload you are able to put more of your energy into your art! Win win situation for everyone!
One of our favourite sayings is work smarter not harder. Why shouldn’t tattoo artists be able to do the same? Originally the idea of Tacrem was client profiles and booking appointments. After getting feedback from just about any artist that would talk to us Tacrem has grown and developed more than we ever could’ve imagined (and we aren’t slowing down any time soon.) The one thing that hasn’t changed is our mission, “let us handle the office work so tattoo artists can do what they do best: art.” No matter if you are a single artist or in a booming 10 person shop, Tacrem is here to handle all the little things you didn’t get into this industry to do. Everyone’s work flow is a little different but we are confident we have a feature, or many, that will streamline your booking process!
